Mary Johnston, 94, fell in love with motorbikes while touring Europe with her late husband.
But when she moved into the Royal Hospital Chelsea, it looked like her riding days were behind her.
That was until Movember ambassador Rufus Hound heard about Mary’s dream, and agreed to help make it become a reality.
This short, heart-warming film shows Mary don her Scarlets - the military uniform worn on special occasions by residents at the Royal Hospital charity - and ride again.
The Royal Hospital supported the film as part of AgeUK’s #lovelaterlife campaign, which has found that 50% of those aged 85 years and above believe that having a positive attitude to ageing is the key to living longer.
