
DRY January is a public health campaign urging people to abstain from alcohol for the month of January, particularly practised in the UK. After a December of festive parties, an overindulgent Christmas day and a champagne-fills New Years Eve, it’s no surprise many of us are reading to halt the booze. But what actually happens to the body during a month of no alcohol, according to the experts.
