
MOUTH cancer is the sixth most common cancer in the world. Around one in every 50 people are diagnosed with mouth cancer in the UK. Some types of cancer are linked to the human papillomavirus infection in the mouth. It's likely that some types of HPV are spread by oral sex. Can a sexual virus cause mouth cancer and if so what are the symptoms to spot?
