
ONE in 10 people over the age of 40 is now living with a diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes in the UK. The charity Diabetes UK has warned the UK is facing a ‘diabetes timebomb' after nearly 2.5 million sufferers missed check ups during the pandemic. Researchers have identified signs of 'hidden diabetes' that could prevent the condition from developing altogether.
