
TINNITUS is the sensation of hearing ringing, buzzing, or whistling in one or both ears. It is best known as "ringing" in the ears and it affects 20 percent of people. The phenomenon is usually caused by an underlying health condition. During the pandemic, this ringing sensation has worsened among patients, raising questions on whether it could be a symptom of COVID-19.
