REDUCING overprescribing of drugs is "more important than ever" after the pandemic and GPs should not dish out a "pill for every ill," England's top doctor has said. Professor Sir Stephen Powis warned patients were taking too many medications and suggested a drop in checks during the last two years had exacerbated the problem.
